Local Culture and Environment

 

Local culture is everything that we make and share as a part of our lives in the place where we live or work. It is often used to mean that the entire ways of life.  Nepal is rich and unique in culture. The culture of Nepal has involved in centuries. Several of the festivals of Nepal last from one to several days. Different types of language are spoken in Nepal. Most festivals include dancing and music, and a variety of foods are consumed during festivals and on special occasions. As well as such ways of life are rule, value and expected behavior. Local culture is a set of behaviors, beliefs and customs that exists in a country everything from how people eat and dress to the way they work and communicate. It provides a sense of identity of communities and living. This identity the ability of common understanding, tradition, and value, all central to the identification of plans of action to improve well-being. Cultural give to building a sense of local identity.

Culture can be seen as consisting of ideas, rules and material dimension. Ideas include such things as the value, knowledge and event held by a culture. Values are shared ideas and beliefs about what is morally right and wrong, or what is culturally helpful. Such values are abstract concepts and are often based in religion or culture in that they reflect ideas and vision of what society should be done. Values are often used to expected in behaviors and rules. These rules are accepted ways of doing things and represent guideline for how people are conduct themselves and how they should act towards others. Regional and local culture serve as a basis for development. Local culture has two goals i.e., keeping other culture out and keeping their own culture in.

Culture is expressed through the social structure i.e.; social organization, social roles and social norms. Culture includes values of right or good conduct such as ideas of justice, freedom and responsibility to future generation. It is important to know about and understand the culture because they are the cultural mechanism in which life grows and decision are made. People share values, attitudes, beliefs, and assumption about themselves and others. Local culture is allowed that the people of daily knowledge come from in shared life experience and information. It transmitted to them by family, neighbors, friends and co-workers. The concepts of culture have many definitions and interpretation. It is often used to represent entire way of life. Culture can be seen and shared products of the society. These products have common meaning that accumulates over time and other reflects shared attached among community members. Local culture also represents unique option for locally based economic and other development. It is clear that culture play a critical role in local community. The aspects of local culture in the curriculum are as follows: -

·       Family and consumer education

·       Natural history and environmental education

·       Reading, writing, speaking, and listening

·       Media and technology and international language.

·       Art, music, and theater

Environment are a remarkable culture, social and economic resources. They are important for the identities and well-being of people. Culture environments are environments that are made by human activities. Such as cultural landscape, forest, urban areas and cities, fixed archaeological structure on land and water, bridges, roads, power lines and industrial and harbour areas. Environment is a part of the total surroundings in the connection of system boundaries. Local environment allows children to develop a sense of belonging to the local community. It helps to develop felling and security. They can be involved in problem solving and learn about environmental issue of significant situations.

The environment makes the values, behaviors, attitude and work of people. Cultural environment is the behavior or beliefs of a certain group of people which is based on factors influencing their culture. Environment is a concept in business which helps to understand the customs and collective beliefs of a set of people or society based on their culture, region, nationality, language etc. Cultural environment is very important for studying in any business to develop. It helps to make right product for the right people at the right place at the right time and right price. Social and cultural environment is very important for studying to understand the customers of a particular region. The study of social hierarchy, social norms and customs, religion-based groups and their behavior helps us to understand the cultural environment of a place. Culture environment is a concept in business which helps to understand the customs and collective beliefs. The culture environment is a set of people or society based on the people’s culture, region, nationality, language so on. Society faces some environmental changes, including climate change and urban population growth.

Environment are non-renewable resources and they are in constant state of renewable and development. The environment provides us with resources for production which include renewable and non-renewable resources. The environment includes sun, water, air, and soil without which human life not exist. It sustains life by providing genetic diversity and biodiversity. When changing and developing the environment or creating new cultural environment, the value of existing environment is a good starting point. Environment comprises both everyday environment and protected or otherwise recognized area and site. They provide raw materials and resources for medicine and other purposes. They are the foundation of all civilization and sustain our economics.
